MEDIATION
Mediation is a flexible dispute resolution process in which an impartial third party facilitates negotiations between parties to help them devise their own, mutually acceptable solutions. The mediator will ask questions, reframe issues, assist the parties to understand each other, and help identify solutions. Mediators do not take sides, pass down decisions, offer legal advice or reveal confidences.
ARBITRATION
Arbitration is a proceeding, governed by contract, in which a dispute is resolved by an impartial adjudicator, chosen by the parties, whose decision the parties have agreed to accept as final and binding.

UMPIRE
An umpire, similar to an arbitrator, refers to a neutral third party who plays a role in resolving disputes, particularly in the context of arbitration or certain legal proceedings. The term is commonly used in the context of insurance claims, where an umpire is appointed to help settle disagreements between parties regarding the value of a claim or the extent of damages.
