AC Hotel - Little Rock, Arkansas
Located in the National Capitol-Main Historic District, the AC Hotel by Marriott project involved the adaptive reuse of the historic Hall and Davidson Buildings in downtown Little Rock. The five-story Hall Building and three-story Davidson Building were rehabilitated and repurposed into a modern hotel while preserving important architectural features.
The completed hotel includes a bar, lounge, media salon, buffet area, and fitness center. Historic finishes such as white marble walls, intricate crown molding, and original lobby and library details were retained and restored throughout the project.
The rehabilitation balanced the character of the original buildings with the needs of a contemporary hospitality property. By preserving historic materials and adapting the buildings for modern use, the project brought renewed activity to two significant downtown structures while maintaining their historic presence.
