Elyton Hotel
The Elyton Hotel project involved the historic rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of the Empire Building, a landmark property located at Birmingham’s “Heaviest Corner on Earth.” The completed development preserved the building’s historic architectural character while converting the property into a luxury hospitality use. The first historic tax credit capital contribution for the project closed in 2016.
